- After 1,000 years of private ownership West Horsley Place nestles within 380 acres of fields and woodlands with a five acre walled garden , Grade 11 listed stables and barns and a Grade 1 listed Manor House.
- Within the Estate, we have created two very different but complimentary venues, the historic manor house which dates from 1425 and an 18th century timber and brick barn, newly renovated to provide a contemporary interior space with modern facilities.
- Within 30 miles of London, West Horsley Place offers a number of stunning options for wedding receptions, events and celebrations.
- The current improvement and restoration works to the estate, include Place Farm Barn (capacity 150), the Manor House (capacity 100), approaches to these venues and a car park.
- Place Farm Barn, a stone’s throw away from the main house, has a large entrance foyer that leads into the main entertainment space. From here, huge glass doors open out to a walled courtyard, large enough for a stretched marquee if required and overlooking fields and parkland.
- The Manor House offers a wide range of different sized rooms from the grandeur of the Stone Hall where Henry V111 enjoyed a 35 course banquet to the hushed peace of the Library, a cosy retreat and home to the remarkable Crewe Book Collection.
- On the first floor, the Old Library is now a beautiful, light Dressing Room with ensuite bathroom and views over the secluded walled garden.
- We are delighted to offer a choice of preferred caterers: rhubarb Hospitality, Two Many Cooks, Thyme & Lime Catering, Earth Catering and Love & Rocket.
- Our philosophy is that every event hosted here should be something very special: personal and exquisite.
