We are also licensed for Civil Ceremonies or if you prefer a church wedding there are two lovely local churches to choose from. Plan your perfect wedding at Woodlands Unlike other venues, there are no rules, set numbers or required packages – our wedding coordinators will help you design the day of your dreams from red carpet arrival to rose petal turndown. We can cater for wedding between 30 and 200 guests in our events spaces which include our stunning garden terrace and permanent marquee space. Our wedding planners will look after you every step of the way. Experts in turning your dreams into reality, they can help with everything from room dressing to recommending suppliers. You can also enjoy the luxury of using Woodlands on an exclusive use basis. You and your guests can enjoy the freedom of using the whole hotel and gardens from 1pm on the day of your wedding until 11am the following day.

Always a pleasure
As an external wedding supplier at The Woodlands we are always made to feel very welcome. The staff are always friendly, polite and go above and beyond to ensure our couples expectations are met, not forgetting how gorgeous the venue is. They are a pleasure to work alongside and after working closely with the team for over 8 years it feels more like a family. Abbigail and Jess have been the constant thread to all the weddings we have worked at and really cannot do enough to ensure we have everything we need to make sure we can deliver exactly what our clients have booked.

We recently had our wedding at The Woodlands and we had the most perfect day. The staff were really lovely, friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. We booked quite a few of the bedrooms for our guests for both the night before and night of the wedding. All the rooms were of a really high standard and all had their own style. The bridal suite was huge! And had a gorgeous roll top bath.

A perfect wedding
We had our wedding ceremony and celebration at Woodlands. It is a beautiful setting both inside and out. The orangery is so beautiful and we were fortunate enough to having reception drinks outside. The whole day ran incredibly smoothly from start to finish. The manager Charlotte, wedding coordinator Jessica and their team made sure that everything was well organised and on time. It meant that we didn’t have to worry about anything on the day (which was amazing being a control freak!).

Summer Wedding 2023
We had our wedding at Woodlands Hotel in Summer 2023 and the day was perfect from start to finish. Prior to our wedding day, the service we got from the wedding coordinators and all of the staff at the venue was fantastic - they took all of our needs on board and turned it into the most amazing day. The orangery is a really lovely room which was transformed from an intimate ceremony room to a beautiful wedding breakfast area. The food and drinks were all absolutely brilliant.

The absolute best day ever!
Cannot express how amazing my wedding was! From the very start of the booking and planning stage with Jess to the very end! Would not have changed a thing and Woodlands is the perfect place for your wedding! Dream wedding venue and wonderful hotel stay!
We held our wedding ceremony and reception at Woodlands using one of their summer midweek wedding packages, it was on the 31st July 2023. We had the most amazing day and this is all due to the wonderful staff at Woodlands. Our wedding coordinator Jessica was with us from the day we looked around about a year and a half ago, right through the planning process and on our wedding day. She is a credit to the hotel and I can’t thank her enough for making the whole process so easy.
