- Yurtcamp provides a unique setting for your wedding ceremony and reception. In early 2011 we became a fully licensed venue for wedding ceremonies enabling us to offer a full wedding package for up to a hundred and twenty people. The ceremony itself is conducted in our special, thatched pavilion in front of which is seating for your guests. This has proved so popular that early booking is vital to avoid disappointment. We offer full catering services ranging from traditional hog roasts to afternoon tea wedding breakfasts. Our catering is so flexible, you can simply tell us what you'd like and we will provide you with an individual quotation. We serve your wedding breakfast in our beautiful wedding barn. In addition to our fully licensed café bar, 'The Woodland Café', we also offer our Giant Hat Tipi, the Tipi has built in electricity and lighting, so your evening entertainment can set up easily. 100+ Guests can be accommodated in our yurts for your wedding and if our site is full we can also provide space for campers if they wish to pitch a tent in our field. All accommodation costs during a wedding weekend include breakfast.

What’s your #1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Follow your heart and think about what makes you special. I hear so many Brides tell me they've seen lots on social media but they're struggling to find anything they like. Don't focus on other people, focus on you and what you love about each other.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
The more involved family and friends are the more personal and meaningful your wedding will be. I personally love it when the family dog is the ringbearer!
Describe your venue in 5 adjectives.
Rustic, woodland, individual, festival, fun.
Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
The tunnel of love!!!
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Sworn to secrecy here!!
What’s your favourite canapé?
A mini curry - a bit of curry on a popadom with mango chutney and red onion - YUM!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Toasting marshmallows around the camp fires.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Without sounding too cliche, the whole venue is unique! People always seem very wowed with our Giant Norweigan Tipi and it goes without saying that they LOVE our Yurts!
What part of your business are you most proud of?
I spend everyday looking at my surroundings thinking how lucky I am. I'm proud of every single person involved in making us what we are, and that isn't just the staff, it's you guys too! I absolutely love my job and feel so proud when I see the smiles on the Bride and Groom faces (and of course their fabulous guests), and think "we helped make this happen". Seeing the love that is engulfed in a Yurtcamp Wedding is something I've never witnessed before and I can't wait to meet our next happy couple.
