What is your most memorable wedding?

Our first ever wedding. It was a rushed affair as the brides mother was really ill - she didn't have long left and the whole wedding was put together within a month or so with the goal to get the mother of the bride there. Unfortunately on the morning she was too ill - so we held a ceremony at the venue and then myself, the photographer, the bride/groom and other ceremonial participants traveled to the hopsice and held a second ceremony in the hospice room where the MOTB was staying. The photographers said to me that i'd never forget my first wedding, and I definitely won't ... the MOTB passed away the following teatime. As heartbreaking as the circumstances were - I was able to capture some beautifully delicate footage of the hospice ceremony - something the bride has told me is priceless to her - and we as a collective made sure that the brides mother was a part of the wedding then, and now eternally in the photos and videos we captured - a beautiful thought for me.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Storybook / Traditional / Cinematic / Candid / Documentary

What about your business are you most proud of?

Everything. I think our business goal is different to others. We want to become your own personal film-maker. We want to be there to film the happiest moments of your families lives - back up and catalogue your birthday and wedding footage - create video and highlights for birthdays and weddings for your children using the old footage we've catalogued - and if you lose someone, we have the beautiful moments on film to create everlasting memorial content. We are your photographer and videographer for life - not just one event. We are your storytellers.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

It might sound biased! ... but please give as much prominence to a wedding film as your photographs. Photos are the age old way of remembering a moment - but in the current time, with video, you can relive not just the way something looked - but the way it sounded ... the echo in the church or the cry of the child during the ceremony when the mother or father has to run out the side door with them. Video strikes more senses and for that reason we always create a feature length film, not just a highlight film set to music, so that you can not only see - but hear ... and in turn feel how the day felt! Video is up there with photography, venue, dress - everything - and if you don't decide to book with us ... please make sure you do book ceremony and speech inclusive videography elsewhere!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

There are so many beautiful moments and touches at each wedding - anything personal hits the heart strings we'd say! ... so when you're looking for the first dance song and Ed Sheeran - Perfect comes to mind (which is a beautiful song! no question) if it isnt personal to you ... go for one that is!

Describe your typical process with a couple.

We can have a relaxed chat either via email / facebook messenger / phonecall and go through the package and pricing info - the 50/50 payment plan - your thoughts and wishes for the day - our style - everything! We don't often meet a couple face to face as we cover the whole UK and distance of course is an issue alot of the time - but if you really want to we can certainly arrange something! Once we've been through everything you can take your time to decide! If you would like to book with us, we send you over our contract and get some basic info and a signature from you - we ask for a 10% deposit of the package total on booking to secure the date and then the remainder can be paid in installments or in full at any time before or on the day itself! We also offer a 50/50 payment option where you can pay half of the total before the wedding for the filming aspect - and then the other half after the wedding when it is affordable for you for the editing aspect - Once the full payment is complete we will complete and deliver your wedding film/photos & extras.

What is the most exciting thing you have caught on camera?

Exciting? im not sure! Beautiful? - I couldn't decide! - although I was going to do a winter photo shoot just after Christmas 2017 on a day when it was snowing, and wanted to do some test shots before i went to meet the family i was shooting - so i got my beautiful little girl in the garden to do some practice shots on her - one become the background for the home page on our website and our cover photo on Facebook - for me (I know i'm her dad and biased!) it's probably the most beautiful photo i've ever taken.

What is the one film you wish you had directed and why?

So many! - mostly Christmas ones! ... this question is too hard!

What is your favourite soundtrack to put to a wedding video?

I love all music but am a rock lover at heart - so any alternative music is always great! - saying that ... ive edited countless videos to (wait for it) Ed Sheeran's perfect and i love every single edit i've done. All music is beautiful.

Describe how you got into videography.

I was always making daft videos when i was younger of me and my friends messing around - i got my first editing software off ebay when I was 17 - played around with it ... it was as fun and enjoyable to me as playing on my playstation - The rest is history!
