Full Description
I am a skilled videographer, but more than that, a cinematic storyteller. My job is to create a beautiful film featuring you, full of your best memories and emotions. Other skills include: authentic British accent, mountaineering, starting a fire without matches, and whittling spoons. I am detail oriented, meticulous, and passionate about telling your wedding story authentically. I make sure everything is thought out so you can enjoy your special day to its fullest. Organization is my strong suit. Schedules and all those nitty-gritty details are sure to run smoothly when I'm on your team. I love creating lifestyle and wedding films that tell your unique story and I am passionate about making sure your wedding day is told timelessly. Nothing makes me more excited than envisioning you watching your wedding story with your children and grandchildren someday.

What is your most memorable wedding?

Seth and Kristen had the most fun wedding in May at The Callawassie Island Club near Bluffton, South Carolina. I was fortunate enough to get the opportunity to hangout with Seth and Kristen the week before their wedding. We all went out for drinks, vacation things, and spent time with their family, friends, and dogs. From start to finish, this wedding was a great experience.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

My style in 3 words: adventurous, free spirited, and non-traditional.

What about your business are you most proud of?

I'm most proud when I'm able to add value to my couples. For example: "I don’t even know where to begin! I remember meeting Dec for a coffee to see if he would be a good fit as our wedding day videographer, and I knew immediately he was the one! He was kind, and had a unique creative vibe. Needless to say, he captured our special day perfectly, and our video told our unique story. He captured every single emotion, and we couldn’t be more pleased. He even made a special in memory ending for my Dad who passed away right before our wedding. Our video is AMAZING! If you’re thinking about hiring him, DO IT! You will not regret it" - Jenna and Nick.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

I'd recommend booking vendors that can provide a great product and connect with you on a personal level. Weddings are emotional and it's important to be surrounded by family, friends, and professionals that are also friends.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

I love it when my coupes write personal vows to each other.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

1. Get to know each other 2. Send proposal (invoice, contract, online payment) 3. Questionnaire 4. Film, edit, online delivery

What is the most exciting thing you have caught on camera?

Timeless moments.

What is the one film you wish you had directed and why?

Gladiator. It's such an inspiring story.

What is your favourite soundtrack to put to a wedding video?

I find several unique songs for each wedding film that suit the wedding and couple.

Describe how you got into videography.

My wife was a wedding photographer in Oregon, USA, and I started to get involved in the company. Adding wedding videography was the next step and I fell in love with the job.
