Great wedding video
Such a friendly service and very professional. The wedding video was so amazing.
What is your most memorable wedding?
There are many weddings that stand out but I particularly enjoyed a wedding between an English man and a beautiful African lady. They both looked stunning, were clearly in love and were surrounded by such loving family and friends. They ended the evening with a traditional African dance, everyone looked magical and the whole room was alive.. It really was something.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Capture the fine details of the day. Create an engaging and cinematic film. Tell the story of the couple and the day unfolding. Smooth steady shots. Capture the emotion of the day, the smiles and tears.
What about your business are you most proud of?
Us caring. It means a lot to us that customer are happy and that they get what they asked for. It's not about us or getting the next shot for our show reel. It's about capturing those perfect moments. Customer service plays a big part and we are certainly proud to be attentive to our clients needs.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Plan early and get to know your suppliers. You should work with people who realise your vision and are as excited about your big day as you are! The last thing you want to worry on the day of your wedding is someone letting you down or messing you about. Meeting suppliers is a great way to pick people you are likely to trust and get on with.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A father and Step Father sharing the walk down the aisle.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We usually recommend a meeting first. It's important that we understand what you expect from us and all great things start with a conversation. It's also nice to meet the people you will work with, particularly photographers and film makers who will be close to you all day. Our typical process would be. Initial Contact Meeting Deposit Payment Possibly a second meeting Final Payment 28 days before wedding Insurance documents and aerial risk assessment sent to venues where required A call two weeks before to run through any last minute questions or details. Filming the wedding day Deliver the fully edited films within 14 days Online Trailer will follow shortly after Comments and Reviews
Describe how you got into videography.
When I was younger, my father always had a big camera on his shoulder and would take it everywhere we went. I didn't think much of it at the time but that is probably where my influence came from. I bought a camera many years ago and started taking photos, editing them together in to videos and sharing them with friends and family. This quickly turned in to taking videos and editing them. I was lucky enough to have friends in bands who would let us film them and it all started from there really. I am entirely self taught and have spent some 13 years teaching myself, with lots of 'trial and error' along the way. Fast forward a few years and I have spent a long time building up my company, creating emotional films and getting the reviews needed to prove my worth. I also run another company, Fresh FX, which deals with our commercial clients where we often film events, promotional videos, bands and a whole lot more. Working both sides of the industry really pushes my skill set and there is nothing I love more than a new challenge.
