Heartfelt Productions is a small team of UK based artists dedicated to creating a wedding film that is as individual and unique as you are. Our shooting style is discreet and unobtrusive; we look for the subtle details that make the day yours.
We started Heartfelt for two very simple reasons. We LOVE making movies and we LOVE weddings! It is an honour to be part of a couples special day and we are looking forward to capturing yours.
Heartfelt Productions offers couples a chance to remember every detail of their wedding day by reliving each moment. Our films are hand crafted in a way that transports you back to the day you said those vows.

What about your business are you most proud of?
We are so proud that 95% of our business comes through personal recommendations. Friends and family members of past clients come to us after watching the films we have created.
What is your #1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Do what you want and do not try to please everyone - it's impossible. When you begin planning a wedding everyone will want to have an input on what they think would be amazing for your wedding. At the end of the day - it is 'your' wedding if you want to get married on a remote beach - do it!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Most of our initial enquirers come through personal recommendations. Once a couple contacts us regarding booking us for their wedding we will have a general chat about the day they have planned. Once we have decided on the perfect video package we will arrange a face-to-face meeting. On the first meeting we will talk through the whole plan for the day and the best way to capture everything on film. Closer to the wedding date we will meet at the wedding venue for a walk-through of the various rooms that are being used throughout the day. This is especially helpful for us to get a good idea of the lay outs for the ceremony and the reception. If the couple are planning a Religious ceremony and are having a rehearsal - we will also attend to agree on camera placements before the wedding date. Once the wedding has been filmed - our edit process starts. This consists of creating a highlights reel which encapsulates the most important moments of the day cut to the clients choice of music. This is usually ready to view within 4 weeks of the wedding. The main film is then cut - again to the clients choice of music. The main film packages are usually ready to mail between 12 - 16 weeks after the wedding date.
What is the one film you wish you had directed and why?
'Amelie' Because it is as close to perfect as a film can be. A beautiful unique Love Story told showing all of life's flaws and imperfections in a unique style.
What is your favourite soundtrack to put to a wedding video?
The music is so important in creating the right atmosphere for each video. It is also a very personal choice. This is why we work with our clients choices when editing. My favourite so far has to be 'For the Love of a Princess' the emotive score from 'The Last of the Mohicans'.
Describe how you got into videography.
I have always been a filmmaker and have worked in the film and television industry for the past 15 years - I was asked very nicely to shoot a friends wedding about 5 years ago as a favour. I ended up shooting the film as a gift for the couple and it turned out rather well. From that one film - the requests kept coming which prompted us to start Heartfelt. - We haven't looked back since.
