Describe your typical process with a couple.
After enquiry, a quick phone call to say hello. Followed soon after by a face to face or zoom to find out a little more about their wedding, what they would like to see in their film. This is soon followed by a couples questionnaire (which I need at least 1 week before the wedding day), which give me all the details of their special day (i.e. who is giving a speech, any special surprises etc).
What is the one film you wish you had directed and why?
Once, because it's just so real. It's a love story that isn't really a love story. And I love the music of Glen Hansard in the film.
What is your favourite soundtrack to put to a wedding video?
Tony Anderson, Airplanes
Describe how you got into videography.
Worked mainly in IT, as with my hobby being videographer, I was tasked with various corporate projects over the years. Once Drone filming came along, I got more into that, which then led me into 2nd shooting at weddings as well. I wanted to be in full control of the final product, couple interaction etc, so decided it was time to go out on my own.
