Wedding Highlights Film
My storytelling skills, learned at the BBC, combined with beautiful images of your big day mean everyone will love watching your wedding film again and again. I specialise in 4-5 minute Highlights films which are the perfect length for sharing on social media and viewing on your phone. Orchid Films are officially one of the best in Wales! As double National Welsh Wedding Award winners you can be confident of having a fantastic wedding film and personal service from the moment you book. I’m friendly, have an eye for detail and film very discreetly. On the big day you’ll hardly see the cameras, but you’ll be amazed at how much is captured. It’s a privilege to be invited to film your wedding day, and really great to know I’m creating something you’ll treasure for ever.

What is your most memorable wedding?
Our own! Orchid Films was set up because my friend Emma couldn't find the style of videography she wanted, so I will never forget filming Emma and Gareth's beautiful happy wedding.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Storytelling. Discreet. Detailed. Beautiful. Friendly.
What about your business are you most proud of?
Winning Best Videographer in Wales at the inaugural Welsh Wedding Awards after only two years in business.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Book your favourite suppliers early - dates get taken years in advance!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
The groom walking up the aisle to meet his bride as she walked down alone because her father had passed away.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We always like to meet up before the wedding to chat through the day and find out about their special touches for the wedding.
What is the most exciting thing you have caught on camera?
A flypast by a Vulcan and the Red Arrows moments after an outdoor wedding ceremony ended. There happened to be an airshow nearby and we managed to catch them on camera.
What is your favourite soundtrack to put to a wedding video?
Beautiful instrumental tracks specially composed for weddings from Soundstripe and The Music Bed.
Describe how you got into videography.
From being a current affairs TV producer/director at the BBC - it uses similar filming and editing skills but with a very different subject.
