Full Description
Our wedding films capture the important moments of your wedding day - our package includes filming from preparations right through to an hour after the first dance. Our unique split screen editing style means you can see moments you wouldn't have seen on the day - preparations, greeting guests, the reception - we will capture it all and edit it to music. We love capturing the fun and happiness of the day and avoid anything cheesy, staged or posed. We describe our style as telling your story from the view point of a guest.

Personal Message from the Manager

Name of Wedding Contact: Rachel
Hello! I'm Rachel - wedding videographer and owner of Veiled Productions. I love filming and editing wedding films because they are always such a happy occasion! I love capturing the fun moments as well as the emotion of the ceremony and the speeches. I like to meet each couple and have a chat over a cuppa (or a prosecco!) so I can hear all about you and your plans for your special day! Give me a call on 07791204720 and we can arrange to meet. Thanks! Rachel

What is your most memorable wedding?

There are 2 which always stick in my mind - one from 2014 - Ellie, the bride, was from the UK and Eric, the groom, was from America. They met in China and so their wedding had lots of traditions from all cultures. They had spent a long time prior to the wedding apart from each other (because of visas!) so it was a very emotional and happy day. I will never forget how connected they were and could really feel the love they have for each other. The other wedding I will never forget is from 2015. Kat is an old friend and asked us to film and photograph her and Oli's wedding day. About a month before the wedding she told us her dad was very ill and therefore how the day ran would be dependent on her dad. I will never forget the moment her dad saw her in her wedding dress...tears rolled down my cheeks as I edited that moment and her dad in a wheel chair walking her down the aisle. Despite this added emotion throughout their special day, Kat and Oli were brilliant fun! We had the bride, groom, bridesmaids and ushers running from a pretend dinosaur (which we later superimposed for the photograph!), a lego cake and an xbox sign declaring "wife obtained". Thinking of their wedding brings a smile to my face every time.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Fun, natural, unique, personal, dedicated

What about your business are you most proud of?

Winning the Guides for Brides Award for videography 3 years running in 2016, 2017 and 2018 and of course being awarded Bridebook Videographer of the Year 2018! We are so grateful to our amazing couples for giving incredible reviews and for all the support we have received over the last 3 years. Thank you.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Do it your way! Once the day arrives, it will fly by so make sure you enjoy it and plan it your way. You want to look back on the day with the fondest of memories!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Ellie and Eric had half pint beer glasses with their initials engraved one them as wedding favours. It was brilliant as they had free beer on tap which guests could help themselves to and then take the glass home at the end of the night.

Describe how you got into videography.

After spending 3 years at university studying Geography but doing student television in my spare time, a passion for video production was well and truly engrained in me! After filming my friend's wedding as their wedding present; I realised what's so important to me - doing something that matters which people are grateful for and doing something I care about. Hearing how happy my friend's were after watching their film gave me more satisfaction and inspiration than ever before! Thus Veiled Productions was born!
