Frequently Asked Questions
(10)

What is your most memorable wedding?

My most memorable wedding has to be my first wedding, watching the pure emotion of the bride and family members as they see the bride in her gorgeous dress for the first time.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Natural. Non intrusive. Capturing individuals personality. Details. Prepared.

What about your business are you most proud of?

Running my own business and making it successful and enjoyable.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Go to as many wedding fayres as possible. There are so many amazing ideas you can get and it also gives you a chance to speak to businesses that could be involved in your wedding.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

The most personal touch I like to add is not being intrusive. It is your day to enjoy and I want to capture your bespoke personality.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I always like to meet a couple before they book me as I like to see what ideas they have and what they expect from me. And to also allow them to get to know me and so I can get to know them.

What is the most exciting thing you have caught on camera?

The most exciting thing I have caught on camera was an interview with one of the special effects team that produced World War Z. Was an amazing experience.

What is the one film you wish you had directed and why?

The Transformers would have to be my choice because of the action side of it. But most films are CGI so it is a difficult one. I really enjoy action packed films.

What is your favourite soundtrack to put to a wedding video?

I enjoy a lot of acoustic music so I always ask the client what they prefer and see if I can find an acoustic version they usually flow a lot nicer with wedding films.

Describe how you got into videography.

I have a degree in Performance & Media which was a lot of filming, video editing, directing... so I have a lot of experience with all types of media from my degree. After graduating I done a lot of freelance work with companies but then decided to go into the direction of wedding videography as it's like filming a love story each time.
