What is your most memorable wedding?
I had the pleasure of filming a gorgeous wedding in Cornwall. The family dog pottered down the aisle with the rings attached to her back. I've literally never seen something so cute.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Cinematic, unobtrusive, hilarious, relaxing, chicken kievs....that's an adjective right?
What about your business are you most proud of?
That I have achieved so much and fought through so much personal adversity to have built a business with an awesome reputation.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Hire a videographer ;)
No seriously, we capture memories that are often missed! And don't scrimp on the price either!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
See my first answer. The dog was pretty much a bridesmaid which was just awesome.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Ok so at first we'll make contact and have a chat about your big day. Then slowly but surely I'll release my sense of humour and if you stick around...we're going to get on rather well :).
What is the most exciting thing you have caught on camera?
A plastic duck race in the river by the venue, at that Cornwall wedding. It was bordering on violence, and there was bets being placed and everything!
What is the one film you wish you had directed and why?
The Godfather Trilogy. Just so I could go down in a piece of movie history.
What is your favourite soundtrack to put to a wedding video?
Anything that suits the video really. I love slow, dreamy songs but then I also love cracking out the fast paced editing to a quick, dancey track!
Describe how you got into videography.
It all started in 2017 when my lady Beth bought me one of those tiny toy drones for Christmas. I didn't open the box until April, but from that day forth I was hooked. 3 months later in July, I was a fully qualified drone pilot with Permission for Commercial Operations from the CAA, and I had my own business called AirTec Drone Imagery! Throughout the next few months I filmed a wedding, worked with a few estate agents and gradually built up my knowledge of all things business. That's when I started to get itchy feet - AirTec Drone Imagery was a cool name, but it really didn't represent my growing love for all things photo & film. So after a few months of research and planning, in January 2018 Zenith Visual Media was born.
I'm now an expert in all kinds of videography, and I'm so proud of the random way my destiny was chosen for me!
